What Three Chores Do You Always Have to Remind Your 7 Yo to Do?

I'm looking to make doorknob hangers as a craft with 7 litttle 7 yo's and i was thinking i wanted to have the doorhangers have a list of 3 things the kids were supposed to do
before school--- like brush your teeth, feed the dog, grab your lunch bag.

Or Three thing they do when they first come home-
Hang up your coat, Empty your lunch box, start your homework.

So my first question is WHAT sorts of things would you want listed for your child????

And second question- I have precut fun foam doorknob hangers that was going to use, but i'm not sure how i would have the girls write their "chores" on it, I think sharpies would be too fat and bleed to much on fun foam. If they wrote it on cardstock and then i glued that to the foam would it istick? I don't have enough fun foam letter stickers and i think those would be too big too. Any brainstorms on what to do ??? I've tried and tried to google and search on pinterest and family fun, I swear i've seen something like this on family fun but i can't find it any more. Help!!

What can I do next?

id have them write on card stock and then glue them to the foam, or use dubble sided tape, this way as they grow and get older they can change them up.

By 7 in their bedroom bathroom area they should brush their own teeth and floss, comb hair, make bed, put away clothes, hang up bathroom towel.

In the kitchen it would be set the table, sweep the floor, clean out your lunchbox with a Clorox wipe and put away, fill water bottle for school.

Other chores: do homework, practice the piano, feed pets, read 20 minutes, sort or fold laundry.

I love this idea!! When my kids were younger they got a kick out of being able to type on the computer and print stuff out. Maybe you could have a file all set up (margins, etc.) and they could each type their three chores and print out on card stock and glue it on. I've used Tacky Glue on foam and it sticks really well.

Have fun!!!

You could use an additional piece of foam sheet, or fold up from the bottom of the door hanger, to make a "pocket" to hold an index card for the daily job. You could then put special messages along with the job card (eg. "Great job on your test at school!", "Thank you for doing such a good job on/helping with/taking care of.......", "Here's a reminder for.......", "I love you.").

our list in the morning consists of Make bed, do hair, brush teeth, pack backpack, pick up floor in room.
after school its do homework and then they pretty much have free time til bath and bed.
weekly they have little chores.

I love the door nob idea. What a great idea. A sharpie should work great.

They do make foam markers you could get if you want to have them write on the foam. They sell them at any craft store.
