They are not really bath salts but a legal (in many states) mix of chemicals and drugs sold in head shops and liquor stores under the name bath salts. They are not the bath salts you buy at the body shop to soak in your tub.
I think they'll be obsolete soon as many states are outlawing them.. it's a case of the laws not catching up to the distribution of a drug.
If they have anything to do with that sick story I'm sure the days of easy purchase by weirdos and kids are numbered!
This seems to be the latest thing for people to snort up their noses and get high on. I think it is the same stuff you put into the tub to relax in, makes you wonder how it is affecting your body just soaking in it.
That news really scared me to think that someone can become a monster so easily.
It is a home made type hallucinagin. Its not detected by drug tests and it has similar effects as say LSD. Its dangerous because there's no telling what is all in it. Its not regulated so basically everything but the kitchen sink is in it and there's nothing they can do about it. Its like K2 in that you can smoke it or even eat it. On the label ir says not for human consumption but that doesn't stop people. Its not bath salt like you bathe in at all and it can be bought at the gas station! If you have teens like I do, have the talk with them. Its dangerous because a kid can think, it can't be detected, its not illegal and so forth. K2 is what demi. Moore was smoking when it caused her seizure. Beware!!!
Sounds to me like one of those things that is not intended to be ingested and is not a drug. Bath salts are sprinkled in bath water to soften it and make it into a lovely bath. There are all kinds of weird things that people will smoke, snort, eat, inject in order to get high. These are people with mental health problems that have not been propoerly addressed and they are self-medicating. Yuck,
I think it is just Epsom Salt that the crush and snort. (They being the morons!!)
Oh gosh - I'm trying so hard not to read about this man. I'll never be able to look at my bath salts again!
There are no words...
