You waited a week already?? Good grief, is this a joke?
Go to the Dr. already
First question.... I am sorry to be so brutal but if this is for real, you already know what you should have done.
My daughter broke he wrist about 9 months ago and every thing as all good. Execpt about a week ago her and her friend raced to get the front seat and her friend pushed her when she was opening the door and it brent it so bad that she started to cry and I havnt took her to the doctor yet .but it has been hurting ever sense. Hi G..
I agree with the below advice and would see medical input. Ti could just be sore or perhaps a bit more. Please update us on how she is doing.
jilly
After a week and this is a problem...definitely a doctor visit.
Welcome to Mamapedia. I can only assume you're a troll because any real parent would have taken her to the doctor about a week ago when she started complaining that it was hurting so bad.
Go to the doctor and get it x-rayed again. Apply ice to combat swelling and pain.
Take her back to the hospital she might have hurt it even worse.. :(
Ice, Ibuprofen and xrays when the office opens!
really? you can't figure this one out on your own? you take your kid to the doctor, and if it's rebroken or injured in any way, i hope you get medical negligence charges thrown at you, then some parenting help - your poor kid!
FREAKING DOCTOR.
Like, about a week ago. DUH.
Take her to the doctor immediately. What are you waiting for? She may not have reinjured it, but then again maybe she did! A healed bone is weaker than a bone that has never been broken.
Call the pediatrician. Tell him/her that you didn't want to overreact, but her wrist is still hurting.
The emergency rooms will see your daughter even if you don't have insurance.
Take her to the doctor.
I thought the trolls came out on the weekend?
And can I just say....I assume that most of these trolls are middle school and high schools and I am horrified at their spelling!!! I think our schools must be failing our youth if these kids are spelling so bad. Just a thought.
You've waited a week? I can see waiting a day or two, but you really need to take her back to the doctor. They are the ones that can tell you what is wrong. It may not be anything, or it may be that she broke it again.
Like others have said, take her in and get it checked out. It's already a weak spot, so it will be good to make sure she hasn't "stressed" it again. Give her some motrin for the swelling and just go to an urgent care, the usually have xray machines in there and it will save you time and money!
At the very least you should have gotten an X-ray. Good greif. What if it's broken again. Now she'll have to have surgery to get it in line.
If it's not broken it might be sprained and they'd need to splint it to allow the muscle to heal.
Then it might be fine too but you'd at least know.
