Debra is right, you need a dog. My little cocker spaniel is like a Flinstone's vacuum. We haven't had to pick a morsel of dropped food in years!

Um, you could borrow my dog for a few minutes. She'd be very happy, and effective, to clean it up in no time!

Whatever you do, don't vacuum it! I did that once. The chocolate shot out the other side of the vacuum cleaner covering me in it, then the motor seized and never worked again!

you could use a wet/shop vac. I have a rug in my kitchen so I took it out and hosed it off while my daughter used a rag to clean the tile floor.

I'm sure you've got this cleaned up by now. Do remember that chocolate is toxic to dogs.

I have a small, inexpensive hand wet/dry vacuum that I use for such messes.
