Looking for some fun games that my 3 /12 year old twin boys would enjoy. We already have a Wii, and its currently collecting dust, so hoping they'll play with it with some educational/ entertaining games. Thanks

What can I do next?

Have you checked out commonsensemedia.org? They rate everything from books to movies to websites to games. Check out what they say is appropriate for preschoolers as far as Wii games go:

My son likes the Diego games. You can play along with them until they get the hang of it which doesn't take long.

I have to say that electronics is not the best thing for preschoolers as they are not developing their brain properly that way. At that age, they need to be using imaginative play and using toys that help them stimulate their brain. I sell educational toys with Discovery Toys and would love to show you some of the products we have that are GREAT for preschoolers. Check out my website at www.dfwtoylady.com. You can search by age group. I would love to talk to you more about the toys and which ones could help your twins based on their age and the skills they are working on or you are maybe wanting them to improve. All our toys come with a lifetime guarantee, and are GREAT for stimulating their brains and helping them use imaginative play that lasts for hours. Contact me and let me know you got my information from here and I will even give you a discount on your first order, but you have to do it by phone or email as it won't work ordering online.

Thanks,

A.

We love World of Zoo. You get to design, take care and play with animals. It would be a good starting point just to get them use to using the Wii remote - there is alot of pointing and clicking and such. You should rent it first and check it out!

My son loves the Wii Sports and Wii Resort activities and he just turned 3. These have a variety of games they can play from tennis, bowling and baseball. We got him the Elmo game, but he is left handed and has a hard time holding the remote sideways like it requires.

My son has a ton of different toys and Wii is just one more option of something he plays with. He is an active 3 year old who loves anything sports. I don't think playing Wii is affecting his brain function or stunting his development in any way. Actually it is teaching him good hand eye coordination.
