I WANT TomTom. Oh my goodness... That app has saved me HOURS of driving time. It was a borrowed phone while a friend was on vacation. Soooooo expensive, though!!!
Ok....so I have to say that I've only been using myfitnesspal.com for just over a week (thanks to the ladies here who suggested it) and have lost 7.5 pounds! I love how it has kept me accountable for my calories and exercise, as well as reward me with positive messages of what I have done. The hubs is using it too. He's lost 5.5 pounds.
What other phone app am I missing out on!?!?! We use Pandora, but it has it's limitations.
Thanks!

NPR news - live streaming and pod casts :)
I love my Weatherbug app. Any time we have a weather alert (tornado, heat, flood, etc.) my phone starts blinking at me. (Which is invaluable to me, since when it's actually tornado weather, our cable tends to go out... lol.) It also has an icon right on the main screen that tells me what the temperature is outside right at that moment. I can go into it and it has animated radar maps, weekly forecasts, all sorts of things. I especially love that it has an hour-by-hour forecast for the day, so if it's *supposed* to rain that day, I can see if I still have time to walk to the store or whatever. :)
I love my weather channel app. I often check the weather before getting out of bed even. Much easier than pulling it up on the computer.
Shopping List - the one that is $2.99
It a sync feature for more than one phone. So I made lists for the stores we go to most often. Anytime we are running low on something, either my husband or I can put it on the list. And it automatically syncs to both of our phones. This way we both have an updated shopping list all the time, and if one of us has time to stop at the store - grocery, Target, whatever - we know EVERYTHING that is on the list.
No calling each other at work saying "I have time to stop on the way home, do you know what is on the list?" etc. It is so useful.
I also use my phone as a child entertainment device when waiting for food at restaurants. My toddler loves the free PBS Kids app, which streams PBS shows. And my 6 year old loves the Grade 1 Math app.
