Actually, I like a coloring app - Color Therapy - and the colors and effects I can choose are very nice.
Nothing to loose, nothing to sharpen, nothing to dry up - it's easy and effortless.
Do you happen to have a favorite author for adult color books? Which pens, pencils or markers do you like best?

I have a simple set of 50 Crayola brand colored pencils, a big huge thing of gel pens I got at Costco, a 100+ box of Crayola brand crayons. I also have a few other random sets of colored pencils and gel pens because I liked the colors. I even have a set of colored pencils I bought at Lakeshore Learning that has a rainbow of skin tones. They all work great! I do avoid some off brands like Rose Art because you get what you pay for.
As far as color books. I have all sorts! I have a Game of Thrones one, a Doctor Who one and a few other things along those lines that I love. I also have fairly generic cats or flowers or whatever that I liked. Michael's had a ton to choose from! Costco does too. Honestly, just about everywhere now has a selection to choose from. My best advice is to look around and see what you like and go with that.
If you can't tell I have a bit of an obsession LOL
I have the colored pencils you can buy at Walmart, why spend more money on other brands? If I want more colors or something I just buy the other packages. They have some colored pencils at Hobby Lobby too. They're a bit more but not double.
Belerophon makes some really cool coloring books. Other than that, I don't look at brands, I look at the pages.
Crayola colored pencils. Must be Crayola brand - cheapo brands break every time you sharpen them.
