I go to craft fairs and yes I would. Especially if i was having a chocolate craving. I'd maybe even buy two. You should have a sign saying 3/? It sounds more like a deal and people may buy a group for more people that way.
My question is short and simple and probably only applies to moms who go to and buy things from craft shows. I am going to be selling at a holiday local craft fair some personalized candy wrappers that have seasonal designs ( like in December I have a few Christmas and Hanukkah designs) that people can personalize with markers that I provide and then I wrap it around a Hershey bar. My question is would you pay $1.75 for one Hershey bar with a personzlied wrapper? I am not trying to advertise by doing this I just want honest feedback on my price point.
Thank you for all the replies... This is very helpful. Just to clarify I do print out the designs on my printer and bring the wrappers cut to size and the customer has the option to personalize it by putting their teachers name on it or Grandma or even their friends name. I market them as affordable gifts for teachers, friends and family members. I really like the idea of offering a discount for more bought such as 2 for $3.00. Great ideas!

Why not google it and see what the going price is to buy something like that in bulk, maybe from Party City or Oriental Trading or something, and compare it?
Yes, I think that is a fair price, but you could probably see what your 'competitors' prices are too ;)
I know $1.50 is just a quarter less, but I would be more apt to buying one then. I would price it this way...... $1.75 OR TWO for $3.00.
And I would buy 2 then since I have two kids and it's fun to bring a little something back home for my kids. I might even buy more if you had labels that said.... "You're a great teacher! Merry Christmas." Because I like to add a small gift along with the main gift when I buy for teachers. (Your idea is great to give people such as the school custodians, principals, neighbors, etc... just a little something as a token of a person's appreciation for them.
Good luck and I really think TWO for $3 will have shoppers buying!
when i'm doing something personalized like that, i prefer it to be printed, rather than hand-written, so no, i probably wouldn't. if you had a way to print, i'd be more inclined to purchase.
I would say $2. That number keeps it even. I have kids coming through selling candy bars for scouts, etc for $2 every fall for fundraisers.
$1.75 is an "uneven" amount. It leaves that last quarter hanging around & always make me wonder if people just want me to say, "Keep the change."
Another poster mentioned homemade chocolate... THAT I would be more interested in.
Sure. A Hershey bar alone is roughly a buck.
** I misread your question.
Yes, I would. Cute idea!
Good luck!!
I would pay maybe $1.50 for the personzlied wrapper on a chocolate bar. Of course for just a hershey bar I may pass, I save my money for the homemade specail stuff not something I can easily pick up at the grocery story.
A dollar would be my max and I go for these things.
I guess it would depend on what I was going to use it for. In place of a card, I would still have to mail, so I'd be willing to pay about $1.00. If for a party favor or some little treat for the holidays, maybe $1.50. $1.75 seems a little high to me, but I honeslty have not looked at any of these personalized chocolate bars for 4 years - since son was born and you could buy them on the websites and such.
Good Luck at the craft fair:)
