I was writing an answer for another mom, and I wanted to put an example of a movie but I can't remember the name of the movie.
Is this movie about a little boy that loved to dance, and many people would make fun of him or the father wouldn't accept, but he kept dancing and he became a great dancer. Do you know what movie I am talking about?
Also, if you guys know of any movie with this kind of story I would love a recommendation, I love this kind of movies when people have a dream or a way to be that is not well being but they work hard and don't give up and they have a good end.

So What Happened?

Yes, Billy Elliot!
All the other are good too, I loved Happy Feet and the Pursuit of Happiness is a great movie, it made me cry.
I haven't see the others but I will.
Thanks ladies.

I know it's not the one you are looking for, but have you seen August Rush? Best Movie EVER! It's about a boy who was separated from his mother at birth. He is a musical prodigy, trying to find her through his music. His mother finds out he is alive (she was told he was stillborn) and she is searching for him too... while his dad is searching for his mom. (they were separated before they knew she was prego.) It's got a lot of great music (and I don't generally like movies with a lot of music) and it's an awesome story. :)

Stand and Deliver, based on a true story about a teacher in LA teaching calculus to a bunch of kids most people would dismiss as too underprivileged to succeed. Awesome movie.

Radio, starring Cuba Gooding Jr. usually has me in sobs by the end.

I love these types of movies too. The based-on-a-true-story ones in particular are most moving for me.

"Soul Surfer" (brand new, in theaters now). It was fantastic, and amazing that it was based on a true story.

"Rudy" is one of my all-time favorites; so is "Friday Night Lights." And of course "Hoosiers."
