floor of grossest roadside bathroom ever AND while my daughter was on the disgusting floor, she pushed the panic button on my keychain and I could hear my car beeping outside!
An answer to a question got me thinking..
We can change diapers just about anywhere.
So what is your story?
Mine
I've changed my daughters poopie diapers in the bckseat of my Honda coupe and it is tiny lol
I have changed diapers on my lap and some even with my daughter standing up
Looking forward to hearing some stories

We were at a park and he took a massive poop. I flew to the nearest bathroom and they had no changing table so I had to change him standing up. That was hard.
Well, of course there is always the airplane, I hate those tiny bathrooms! The changing tables are above the toilet and it cuts the already tiny bathrooms in half! lol But the hardest was the train in Germany. The bath rooms had no counters or changers and not enough floor space, so I had to balance him on the top of the toilet seat! (over a blanket of course)
Immediately upon sitting down on a Southwest flight from Denver to KC, my daughter (just a week shy of turning 1) took a massive poop. The whole front of the plane smelled. It was not running or anything but just stunk. I asked the flight attendant "where can change her?"...she said "you'll have to wait until the seatbelt sign is turned off".
I felt so bad for the people in our isle and in front and back of us. So time comes seatbelt sign is off and they all stood up...like THANK FRIGGEN GOD!
Needless to say they put a blanket down in the front right by the doors and I had to change her in mid air!
Trunk of my Seville. In a field.
Yep, really poopy diaper change in the backseat of a VW Cabrio in the middle of a snowstorm.
.
On a bench in Disney World. The nearest bathroom had a huge line, so I just changed my daughter's diaper on the nearest bench. :-)
bathroom in Paris, not kidfriendly at all...and than they wanted 8 bucks for a can of coke...crazy
AWESOME question. LOL! I have basically the same answers as yours: my lap, and in a small car:)
The changing table in an airplane, and the front seat of my car.
The beach. It was windy. Enough said.
On the kitchen table at my grandparents cluttered house. There just weren't any other clean flat surfaces(the beds were covered with boxes of fabric.) And my grandfather complained because he used to be a health inspector.
Airplane tray table....don't worry, I disinfected it afterwards ;-)
Not the most strange of places but it certainly is difficult to change a baby in a bathroom without a changing station or a nice sink surface. I wont dare put them on the floor, so changing an infants diaper while attempting to stand them up, hold their head and change it one-handed, pretttty tricky. Sometimes ill use my legs as a table, stretching them out if front of me.
Stuck in traffic on I-35. There was snow. We were sitting in traffic, not moving. She needed a bottle, and then a change. We finally started moving after about an hour.
In the aisle of a Goodwill store!
I was in a Goodwill store with my Mother and Son (18 mo) and he had drank a sippy of milk and it leaked all over his clothes, through and through.
And un-lucky for me, I accidently locked my keys in the car so his change of clothes annnnnd my PURSE was in the car!!! So no clothes and no money.
Sooo, I had to call my roadside, thank goodness I have it lol. But still no clothes or money.
Thankfully my Mom was there, she ran down the road (literally) lol, and bought some diapers for him and we changed him in the aisle of Goodwill.
People were watching, and I was just laughing cause it was so ridiculous.
Never going to do that again! (I hope) lol.
I was in line boarding a plane when my (then) 9mo let out a doozie. So I went straight to the very back of the plane, laid her across a few seats and changed it as fast as I could.-- no one else went to the back first. phew.
I've also changed them in restaurants across the booth seat. I hate trying to do anything potty related with my kid in public bathrooms.
My answers are basically just like yours. haha, I've had to change my daughters diaper in my Civic coupe, many times! Many standing up changes which can be difficult haha.
on a windowsill of a consulate is probably the strangest place.
In the stroller during a wedding reception. The hall was older and did not have changing stations in the bathroom and had pedistal sinks so no counter space. I have also used the dressing rooms while out shopping.
As a military wife, I travel a lot! So when my kids were babies, my #1 thing to grab on the way out the door was my travel changing pad which carried about 4 diapers, a small container of wipes, and a small tube of diaper rash cream =) no matter where I was, I could roll that out and have a clean changing surface! I've used my lap, my husband's lap, airplane seat, stroller, park bench, seat of the car, floor...pretty much wherever! I never had the option of my babies holding me back from going places, so I got inventive =)
On a similar note, I remember the moment I fully realized I was a mom of 2...when I was sitting on the floor, cradling my breastfeeding baby in one arm under my shirt while changing my 2 yr old's diaper one-handed =) that was a proud moment LOL
A lot of creepy roadside bathrooms
Trunk of my Ford Focus, at a very crowded and very tiny gas station (it was extremely dark and very close to the freeway)
I used to travel a lot when she was an infant, so I had to learn how to change a diaper pretty much anywhere. =)
