Good for you, don't get left out of the fun.
We take a new glove put some linseed oil or lanolin on the inside of the palm area where you'll catch the ball. Then put a baseball/softball in and wrap with rubber bands. You can put it in the sun to soften it up which will help mold it to the ball. Leave it that way for a few days, you can put something heavy on top to help the process. When you remove the bands spend a few minutes tossing a ball into it over and over, hard.
I've heard of people putting them in a microwave but I'd be worried about over "cooking" and breaking down the leather.
Honestly the very best way to break it in is to use it. After a year or so it will be perfect for your hand and the ball. After that, don't lose it, that thing is a one of a kind custom. Have fun!
