S.P.
sounds like a sinus infection. When I fell like that it feels like my sugar is low but nope, just sinus issues. I am from California so I never knew what sinis problems were till I came here.
I have a question for all you out there. I have been sick but am getting better. I still have a little stuffy nose and a cough but I am not feeling well. I feel real spacey and can't focus real well on things. It takes a minute to get it all focused. It feels like when you take a strong medication to help you sleep. I was just wondering if this could be because I am still getting better or if it could be something due to my pregnancy. I haven't taken any medicine for 3 days because I thought it may be messing me up. It is really bad after lunch, but seems to get better when I wake up. It can make me feel tired sometimes. If anybody has any info please help me out. I don't want to call the ob if it is nothing, just getting better. I just haven't felt like this before unless I was taking some strong medicine. Just a little more info, I called the dr. and he told me to take Robitussin, so I took a night time cold and flu one. Thanks to all!!

Ugh. I felt like that too. I just got over that nasty flu that was going around. I also took Robitussin and it made me a little out of it. Maybe you're just more sensitive to it this time around...?
It could be either one. If it gets worse or as you start to feel better if it doesn't get better I would call. I actually realized I was pregnant this time around because just about every time I stood up I felt the way you are. Robitussin is safe while pregnant but only certain formulas according to my previous ob and a pharmacist. My ob suggested just taking sudafed and tylenol instead of robitussin though.
If you are still experiencing cold symptoms, you might have a sinus infection. Sinus and ear infections can cause dizziness and equalibrium problems. If you haven't actually been seen by a doctor yet, it wouldn't hurt to be checked out to make sure that you are ok. Make sure that the medicine that is recommended by your family doctor is ok with your OB and don't a cold medicine that is not recommended. For instance, cough medicine is ok but if you get the cough and cold medicine, it might have a decongestate in it that is not ok to take while you are pregnant. Your OB should have a list of medicine that is ok.
I didnt think you were suppose to take any cold medicine while pregnant, it could have been something to do with the pregnancy and the cold medicine. I know pregnant women get forgetful sometimes. Could be normal, but I would call the OB to be safe.
Congrats on the up and coming new member of your family.
maybe you have conjestion/fluid that is messing with your equilibrium. that's happened to me before with a cold.
