S., it was suggested in some parenting mag that you place dry water noodles under the bottom sheet which acts as bumpers. noodles are cheap but may be difficult to find this time of year. or could still be on clearance somewhere.

My daughter sleeps in a toddler bed at home but has outgrown the pack n play when we travel and when she sleeps at Grandma's. What does anyone use for times like this. She's also a big "roller" in her sleep so I need something that will allow her to move around a bit.
Some parents suggest to use a sleeping bag and let the child sleep on the floor, while some parents suggested to use inflatable air mattress. Check out the article for more advices.

We were going to get it, but when our son saw us looking online, he insisted on the one with the kids Thomas the Train characters of course :) Either is a great choice in my opinion. Good luck!
Our son uses a kid-size sleeping bag and sleeps on the floor.
My kids always liked sleeping on a regular mattress that was on the ground. It's low enough that if she does roll off it's not a long drop. If it's a realistic possibility at Grandma's it's a good first step to move her out of the toddler bed and into the next phase of "Big Girl Bed".
I agree with all advice--a sleping bag on the floor (no need for expensive equipment) is what I always did with my kids. They never slept well away from home as infants, but the sleeping bag was great!
Make a bed on the floor of where ever you are staying. I do that with my boys all the time.
Hi S.,
I bought a bedrail to keep them from falling out. I would bring it over and that way he would sleep in the twin bed at grandma's without falling out. My 4 year old still uses it.

All kids need is a simple sleepin bag thrown out on the floor and they should be happy. It's like camping.
We have the "Deluxe Inflatable Bed" from onestepahead.com. It has four sides so it might help for your roller. Just go to their site and type in travel beds and a few options pop up.

I make a pallet on the floor
I found a side rail, it has 2 arms that go between the mattress and the box spring, it is about 4 feet long and 18 inches high, with mesh sides. It will stop the child from rolling off the bed. It costs 25 dollars at Penneys.
we use the easy set blow up bed bag
