I made dinner, cleaned the house, did laundry. Ha ha just kidding.
I went for a walk by myself. Ah nice.
Bought a IKEA bag full of clothes for my son a rummage sale for less than $13.00. ALL was either "Cars" or from Children's Place. I'm very happy/proud of myself.
My favorite part was seeing my son's face when he saw a NEW (to him) Mater and McQueen hoodie from the Disney Store. My husband was really impressed too!
Took my girl to the playground and to the library. It was a great day.
I walked to our local shops and picked out a birthday present for a 10 year-old girl then went across the street to the bakery and bought a loaf of caramel apple bread. I'm looking forward to breakfast!

Nope, nothing yet.
Went to the pool with my boys, and then the beach. The waves were huge and there was a long boarding comp on.
With my oldest son at his bio dads for the summer and with the budget being so tight lately, so we "splurged" of course splurging to my 4 and 10 year old means a trip to the dollar store and McDonalds = )
I have been taking them with me to clean at the laundromat since their daddy works nights and for some reason they think it is a hoot to help me sweep.

I am just glad we had a fun evening.
Last night I went with my grandson to Harry Potter's last movie. We've seen all but one together. Tonight I went to an opening at the art museum on campus. I've already had a fantastic weekend and it's just Saturday morning now.
I had fun laughing with my kids all day today.

LOL - he's now 30!!
We spent the afternoon at the beach. It wasn't too hot and wasn't too cold, and wasn't overly crowded. This is the first time I've ever lived within driving distance of the beach, and it was so much fun. The kids had fun running away from the waves (a game they like to play) and I was able to sit and talk with other moms. It was a great day.
DS slept at his cousins house last night while DH and I went out to a lovely romantic restaurant for the first time in a year. Then I got up early and went to the farmer's market with a friend. Came home with wonderful herbs, fresh produce and some gorgeous flowers!
A friend and I took our daughters to see the local production of "The Sound of Music" LOVED it! LOL, glad you asked this week, pretty much any other Friday I wouldn't have much to report.
Just got back from the movies with my daughter and her boyfriend. After a 60 hour work week thus far, I needed to decompress. Great to hang out with the kids.
