I am having a hard time losing weight. I have been using my treadmill at least 3 days a week for the last month but I am actually GAINING weight. (and no it's not muscle) I have been eating alot these last couple of weeks because of the stress of the move so I'm sure that is the problem.

Anyway, I just wanted to know what finally worked for everyone and got those pesky pounds off!

L., I found a great program called and you can look at it on bodymakeover.com. Our metabolism slows down which is what causes us to gain weight. I went on it for four weeks and lost 22 pounds. I started back on it last week and lost another 5. Check it out, it is a healthy diet as I have fruit, veggies, protein and even oatmeal and rice. I walk about 3-4 times a week. Good luck. D.

I finally had to go to the doctor and they check my thyroid and sure enough it was underactive. So if whenever you get serious about it with the eating and excercising it does not come off or if it really give you a hard time you might want to get that checked. Good luck!

I lost ten pounds working out 4-5 days a week, but then I just stalled and quit losing weight. I kind of had this notion that since I was working out, I could eat whatever I wanted. I just recently got serious about watching what I eat, and I cut out fast food, most beef, high fat dairy products, sodas, chips, and any of your typical "junk" food. I now make low-fat choices when eating out, and I try to stay away from sweets. However, I want to stay away from a "diet" since I want to train myself to eat well all the time. I've been doing this for two weeks (continuing my workout routine) and have lost five pounds.

I have done a program called Isagenix. It's a health and wellness cleansing program. I love it and I have several family members and friends who have done grat on it too. I went down from a tight 14 to 8. My brother has lost 55 pounds since Easter. If you are interested email me or give me a call and I can tell you more. ###-###-####

Hi L.,

I did Tae Bo and Billy Blanks Boot Camp everyday and also went on the South Beach Diet. I was back to my pre-pregnancy weight within a few months.

I highly recommend Weight Watchers. I don't have the willpower to eat healthy on my own. WW teaches you how to eat the right way- you can eat anything in moderation.
