I look at coupons for stores in the paper, or by mail. This is a big decision maker for me...
Hi, my husband an i run a video game store. My question is, when it comes to doing your
holiday shopping, how do you go about knowing where your wanting to shop?
I'm basically looking for help with advertising. I dont want to spend alot of money when its not needed.
Do you go by word of mouth, tv ads, whats in the newspaper, flyers.
What as a parent do you look for?
Thank you for all your help.

I don't know if this will really help you but I go by word of mouth. I friend will say she found such and such thing on sale at ABC store.
Internet, email. I LOVE groupon!!! You should check it out, I don't know if that would work for your business, but I love getting them!! It gives me a chance to try things that I won't normally try. :-)
I look for deals. So advertising is where I get my information on where to get the best deal. Word of mouth isn't a good way. You may post something in your windows too to attract attention to the deals inside. The sign should be neat and clean and not low budge looking because that is a turn off to shoppers as well. I like a good deal but I don't want to buy it from a store that looks like it's the dollar store.
I hope this helps!
I look thru the Sunday paper.
Groupon, Living Social -even here there's the Mamapedia Daily Deal. Great advertising and people LOVE them. Check out Scoutmob too!
