My kids drink mainly milk and water. Juice every once in a while. We have milk with meals, sometimes with snacks and then they have a cup water available to drink throughout the day.
I have a 2.5 year old son and was wondering what i should let him have to drink. In the morning he has about 2 sippy cups full of Orange juice,1 of milk, then all day he will have water or iced tea. Please let me know what you let your kids drink....

My oldest is 4 but at that age he got either milk (4 cups a day) or water and maybe one glass of juice (watered down) a week.
Thats a lot of juice in my opinion. My kids (3 and 9) get 1 cup of milk with breakfast, 1 cup of milk (or watered down juice) with lunch and 1 cup of milk or watered down juice if they didn't pick juice at lunch and then they can drink as much water as they want during the day.
My daughter has 8 -12 oz of Hot Cocoa (Ovaltine Rich Chocolate) at around 7:00am every morning. She has water the rest of the morning (btwn 2 & 6 oz depending on our activities), and then with lunch either water, OJ, or Veggie Juice (like Fruitables, or some other brand blend) and she drinks about 2-3 oz of water or 4-6 of juice. Early afternoon she typically has water (not a lot), but at around 3:00 or so when she has a snack she will have about 5-6 oz milk (plain, chocolate or strawberry depending on her mood). Dinner is usually water, but sometimes juice around 4 oz. Just before bedtime she always has milk also about 4 oz.
She does not have anything with caffiene or artificial sweeteners in it.
Hope this helps!
