We are gonna wake up early too (hopefully NOT too early) and I will start some coffee and take out our French Toast Custard and let it come to room temp (yummy! Its amazing and everyone's favorite) hubby will start a fire while the lil' ones check out their Santa presents (which are always un-wrapped and ready to go)and then the lil' kids will go downstairs and wake up the teenagers (Ha!) and then we will open stockings and presents, gotta call my Mom in CA, and put her on speaker when my kids open her gifts she mailed up. We will get a phone call from my nephews telling me what they got and checking if we are awake yet! We will then do some quick clean-up and wait for my sister, BIL, and nephews to come over...then we will exchange gifts with them. We will then eat breakfast...and I imagine it will be about 10am by then (hopefully) and then we will all relax, stay in our jammies and play ALL day! We do munchies for lunch. (I will have to make a cake sometime during this down time), sometime during the day my BIL's baby brother will come over w/his woman of the year (hopefully she is nice)... then prime rib for dinner!
While dinner is being prepared by my BIL, sister and I will put up some Birthday decorations and bring out all my nephews b-day gifts (yes, he was born on Christmas, poor buddy!) He opens his presents...is STUNNED by all his loot (he is 16 this year and getting a CAR! Ford Explorer baby! I am so excited to see his face) Then b-day cake for dessert...and its over :(
~Of course there will be countless phone calls from all our family, which is spread all across the globe and the kids will be running around like crazy excitedly playing with all their gifts and hopped up on sugar from all the candy in their stockings, which I allow then to eat ALL day, whenever they wish!
So EXCITING!
Merry Christmas!
