I think you should have friends over for the day and have a sleepover. My son just turned 13 and he did this. If your parents say no to the sleepover just having friends over for the whole day would be tons of fun. Say 10am to 5pm. We took them out for tacos for lunch, came back for cake, and they did things like shoot hoops outside, skateboard, jump on the trampoline, walk to a local park, eat lots of doritos and soda, watch a movie and play video games. My son said it was lit! ;) Other ideas: bowling and pizza, an arcade place (expensive though), a water park. What do you and your friends like to do?
A karaoke machine can be a lot of fun. They are not TERRIBLY expensive, at least compared to other party things. A friend of mine's daughter had a sweet 16 party at a tea house--everyone got dressed up and had a traditional tea. A very different vibe than you might be thinking but it was fun for them.
You are asking this question on a community of parents, so you are going to get answers from that perspective. If you say a little more about what your friends like, how many people you want to host, your budget, and whether you are trying to do the party at your house or somewhere else, you may get better answers even if they will probably be a little stodgy.
Gamma I think she means "lit" as a slang word for "really fun".
N., what are your parents' rules about your party? Maybe you could have some friends sleep over and watch movies?
Happy early bday! lel. SO what is your budget? Are your parents allowing you to throw a party at home(what are your parents rules?) Also depends on what activities or hobbies you're into?
Best Luck planning,
P
Depends on your budget and how many guest you want to invite. My oldest wanted a trip to NYC to see a show when she was 14. My youngest friend's through a surprise party for her so I actually did nothing.
I have no idea what LIT means but laser tag can be a lot of fun.
