Weird Pain and a Weird Description

So I am 24 weeks and I have the strangest pain and it is getting worse each week. The pain is where my legs and groin meet. Like if you were a little kid and had to pee and you decided to "hold yourself" (for lack of better terms)...on each side of that I am soooo sore. By night time it hurts to use my legs to roll over. Am I being a big wuss?? I do not remember being like this the first time around.

What can I do next?

I have had the same pains you are talking about, I am 38 1/2 weeks and have had them off and on since the end of my 2nd trimester, they always feel kind of like pulled muscles. I don't recall having them with my first pregnancy. It is called round ligament pain. What works for me is sleeping with a pillow between my knees and some tylenol. Also Bengay has worked too. Hope you can get comfy and good luck with the rest of your pregnancy.

It sounds like ligament pains. Very normal, and you did a good job of explaining. I'm right at 33 weeks (I think lol can't remember), and I had that before my last visit. I don't remember it with my first, though. Mine was just on one side, and she said that the heavier the baby gets, the more stress it puts on your groin, so you'll occasionally get that pain. Good luck, and congratulations.

I've had 4 kids & didn't have that pain with the 1st one. But each pregnancy after that, it got worse. By my 4th, I thought I was going to fall apart!

See a chiropractor who has a lot of experience treating pregnant ladies. Mine saved my sanity, and my back, and my nerve endings. :)

I had that with my second baby. I think it is because your muscles are weaker than they were when you got pregnant the first time around.
