My trainer for one day, it was a one day free type thing I won, told me that since I was trying to only lose 10-20 pounds to focus more on toning certain areas, which in the end will help burn of those areas that I am targeting instead of an over all work out.
The majority of my workouts target my belly, hips, thighs, butt... typical areas that women want toned/loss a few pounds (do these for about 45 mins - an hour depending on how long my daughter naps). Then I do an over all exercise for 30 mins like running or swimming laps to help my whole body be healthy (usually it is out running while hubby is home from work)..
