I'd like to find some other moms who are looking to lose weight and would like to start a support group in Scottsdale. I'd be happy to get us all started. I have some ideas like swapping recipes & ideas and even having a cooking class. Let me know if you have some interest.

I am in North Phoenix and I think that is a great idea. I have been plus size most of my adult life. I recently tried WW and the timing of the meetings didn't really work for me and I fell of the wagon. I love the idea of a support group.

I would love to join a support group. I have been doing WW for the last 2.5 years and I have currently lost 127 pounds with 40 more to go. The reason I have done so well is that I like to cook and try to cook a new recipe every week. I think that if we get board we will quit! I do have a lot of good recipes to share that my family like. Also it is good to get together with people that have the same issue and that you are not alone in this journey!! I am a single mom of 2 my son 25 and married he lives in CO and my daughter is 18 living with me and going to MCC. Hope to talk to you soon!!!

If you are interested there are several of us woman who get together every Monday, wednesday, Friday at 5:20 a.m. for a free Boot Camp at Squaw Peak. It is only an hour long and it is at your own pace. It has been wonderful!!!! Let me know if you would be interested in it and I will give you more information.

Count me in if your not too far north in Scottsdale...I'm down near 56th Street & Camelback. I have lots of cooking ideas that I would love to share and would love to meet other moms with the same goals. I was seriously injured in a bike/car accident about a year and a half ago and put on weight due to that set back. I've started some great exercise classes: water aerobics, pilates, yoga and have already lost 7 lbs. I know my metabolism has changed a lot with age too, now that I'll be 48 this year. So I think a support group would be beneficial and I'm not wanting to spend more money like joining weight watchers or buying pre-packaged diet meals. Let me know what times you have in mind.

I'm actually doing a very similar thing in the Tempe/South Phoenix/Ahwatukee area. Of course, all areas are welcome. I tend to discuss healthy diet but tend to focus more on the exercise portion of it. Maybe we could join forces. Let me know if you have some interest in becoming a Yummy Mummy with me.
Hi! I'm definitely potentially interested. How is that for a definitive answer?! I definitely have to lose weight - let me know what you have in mind. I saw someone said boot camp at 5:20am - I'm not that motivated to lose weight! Just keeping it real. . .:-)
