Hi A.,
I have two friends that have lost weight with Weight Watchers. It hasn't been long enough to see if it will stay off or not yet but they both LOVE the program. I do know that one of the reasons that they have both (husband and wife) had trouble losing weight is because they are not healthy. Weak immune systems tend to hold onto any fat it can because it recognizes it as the only nutrition it has. Their diet before WW consisted of mainly pork, diet sodas, and mostly starchy vegetables. Now their diets consists of mainly pork, diet sodas, which are approved by weight watchers and green vegetables.
My husband, his best friend and his wife have lost weight and kept it off after they started taking a good, absorbable multivitamin. This vitamin got the nutrients to where they needed to be so they were all healthy enough to actually lose the weight that the body was not supposed to be carrying. My husband lost 60 pounds with no diet or activity change and then lost an additional 50 when he started running. His friend has lost 40 pounds with little exercise and NOT eating fatty foods anymore. (My husband always ate good and was never a couch potato so we never could figure out why he couldn't lose weight before.) His wife won't tell me how many she's lost, lol, but she looks the best I've seen her in 15 years.
The best way to lose weight is to get healthy and the best way to gain weight is to get healthy. A strong immune system will balance your body's fat with a little added activity.
Let me know if you'd like any more information on my husbands 110 pound weight loss. He's kept it off and feels great.
Good luck to you!
Regards,
M.
