Our daughter has one of the convertible cribs. We're planning to convert it from the crib to the toddler bed in the next few weeks. My plan was that when it's bedtime, I would sit in bed with her to read her a story. Currently, we sit in a glider to read a story, but I'm 6 months pregnant and my lap is very quickly disappearing... and we plan to move the glider into the new baby's room when we convert her bed to a "big girl bed". My question is... Is there a weight limit on the toddler bed? My husband is concerned that we shouldn't sit in it with her as we may damage it because we, ourselves, weigh quite a bit more than a toddler. Anyone know if there's a weight limit or where I might find that information? I don't remember the name of the crib, but I believe the brand is DaVinci. Thank you, everyone, in advance!! :)
my DD toddler bed has a limit of 50 lbs....which I am clearly wayyyy over and I have sat on it also layed on it for a while w/ her, but it is small. what about a twin bed w/ rails? they you can actually lay w/ her...I decided on the toddler bed bc my DD went into it young and I was worried that she would be too high up in the twin bed. good luck, and congrats on your next baby!
As long as you don't jump on it. My husband and I have laid down on ours, it's not comfortable though.
On the other hand my daughters were roughhousing with friends and they broke the twin bed, supposedly that was made for an adult.
The weight limit on mine was 80-100lbs.
I am small (100lbs), and my toddler is 35 lbs and we sit on it just fine. But I just sit on the very edge.
