The silly thing has been discontinued and out of stock :( BUT, my darling friend Sarah tracked one down and the woman said she'd sell it to me for $50 and ship it for free. I know it's not the exact same bracelet I wore in the ceremony, but it's the same thing (you know?) I was really upset I lost the real one :(
So, would you have done the same thing?

I would probably buy another one yes, $50 is pretty cheap and you are getting free shipping which is always nice. And no one will know the difference.

I wear my wedding earrings all the time, and one day in my haste to get somewhere I was putting them on as I walked out to the car and I dropped one. Of course, I couldn't find it and I was in a hurry, so I left and was SO bummed. I couldn't stop thinking about it, so the next day I went out and started scouring the ground. Never in a million years did I think I would find it, especially since it had rained earlier that day. But there it was, intact, just a little dirty! Yay! My point is, have you looked for the original bracelet? I would get a few people together and go hunt for it down that stretch of road if possible (and if it's not too dangerous, if it was the expressway or something then forget it). You never know.
If it's a piece of jewelry you had planned on wearing often - then yes, I'd get another. If not and you wanted it for sentimental reasons, then no I wouldn't. Your guy is handsome... hopefully he can continue to act like a man should be! Lovely picture too!

Yea I am for the girl go look for it. A couple of years ago I lost the diamond out of my engagement ring. I was so upset. 2 days later my mother who wears thick glasses found it at the back door on the rug. I had looked everywhere and picked though the vacume cleaner. Can't hurt to look.

As for the bracelet. Doubtful it made it thru being run over by a car, but u never know. There is a 'lost and found' on craigslist. You could post your lost bracelet if you wanted. Worth a try. If not - well you have a story to tell now I guess.

I have not worn any of my wedding jewelry since my wedding. The only reason I keep it around is because the stones set in it were passed down to me by family members and have sentimental value.

As for the bracelet, I probably would repurchase it. I wore beautiful (fake) diamond "drop" earrings at my wedding and have loaned them out, literally, to 5 other brides. I love them and it makes me smile to wear them!
