Can anyone recommend any places where to shop for an inexpensive wedding gown in the 60634 area code, in Chicago? Also looking for recommendations for photographer/videographers.
I had wonderful luck at David's. If you are looking for JR. Bridesmaid or Flower girl dress. We have had wonderful luck at http://www.butterflyxc.com/ My girlfriend used this site for 3 weddings. Photographer, we used Rembrandt. They were resonably priced and we were happy with the video and the pictures.

There is a small shop on Belmont/Central. It's on Belmont, South side of the street, just East of Central. I think it's called Sarah's bridal. They have gowns there, but what I did is find a gown in a Bridal catalog. When I went to one of the big bridal places like House of Brides etc, they told me it would cost 5-6 grand. At this little shop they ordered the same gown and did alterations for $1000. This was over 10 years ago, but I know they still do this....
Also, my husband is a professional videographer. He works with different studios and also on his own.

He would need the wedding date, how many people in the wedding, how many guests, what you want taped (some people want everything starting at the brides house, her getting dressed, park, church, reception and others only want certain things like only church and reception).
They can show you demos etc.
