I would take away the morning one now, and then in 1 month take away the evening one.
My daughter is 10 months old and I currently breastfeed her when she wakes up and before she goes to bed. She refuses to drink from a bottle and will drink water/juice from a sip cup and sometimes will drink formula mid day from the sip cup. I need to wean her before I try to get pregnant again due to the medications I need to take in order to get pregnant. I'm not sure how to wean and keep my daughter properly hydrated. I would like to wean my daughter by the time she is 12 to 15 months old.

Try pumping and giving it to her in a bottle. Put some of the milk on her lip so she knows what's in the bottle using the nipple. Then start mixing your milk with formula little by little until it's all formula. My son had this problem too...and it's ok to let her get good and hungry so she will be more apt to take it. When you are hungry enough you'll take anything...sometimes she may be put off and refuse but keep trying and eventually she should take it. Just keep introducing it every time and eventually after many refusals she'll take it. Good luck

those are the hardest 2 feedings to stop, especially the going to bed one. if she knows no other way to go to sleep, try having someone else put her to sleep, you will probably have to be out of sight, maybe even let her sleep over grandmas or something a couple of nights, or you sleep out. thats how i weaned both of my 1st 2. ditto for when she gets up in the morning, that one should be easier, you (or someone else) can distract her with yummy things, juicy fruity things, etc when she first wakes up. it can be hard, i know. when she is thirsty, she will drink. if you are worried about keeping her hydrated, just keep offering her milk in a sippy. giving her a lot of fruit can help too. good luck.
Hi M., Sounds like you are doing fine. If baby will drink from a sippy cup you will have no problem weaning her over time. Stretch it out as much as possible to avoid pain for yourself. You started well in advance with 5 months. My best wishes, Grandma Mary
