Hi ladies!
I have a strange question that I hope some of you can help me with. I'm getting tired of shaving my underarm area and wondered if any of you have used a store bought wax before. I'd love to know which one works the best. I remembered trying one years ago but it didn't work. I appreciate your input!

Hey Ladies! I hown a salon in St Louis Mo. My recommendations are 2fold. Go to a salon, it should only cost around $15 and takes less than 10 minutes. At our salon we have a children's area for kid's cuts complete with toys or movies, so they are entertained for brief services such as a quick wax!
Second-get a roll on wax kit-available @ Sally's, comes with everything you need. Apply baby powder to the area that you are going to wax first(the wax will not pull your skin so much). Apply the wax in the direction that your hair grows, immediately put on the muslin strip & apply pressure by rubbing. Hold the skin at the bottom of the area you are waxing and QUICKLY in 1 movement pull the muslin off in the opposite direction that your hair grows. Apply oil to remove the excess wax. DO NOT re-wax an area at this time, you can tear your skin. This is true for all areas you wax.
Hope this helps. D.

I've been using Sally Hansen "Extra Strength All-over body wax" Brazilian formula. But I just went to a salon and had hair removal by sugaring. It is so much more comfortable than waxing and lasts 3-4 weeks. You won't get the ingrown hairs and skin irritation that you get with shaving and waxing.

the store bought was a total mess...and managed to cause a ton of bleeding. I suggest you either go to a professional or get an epilator!

I believe hard wax is recommended for waxing.

I would go to Sally's and see if someone could help you. You can also check their website and read reviews on their products.
