Hi all,
Does anyone know of a place to take water aerobics that's suitable for pregnant women? I'm just starting my third trimester and really want to keep up with doing some kind of exercise.

Thanks!

They have them at Baylor Grapevine in the outpatient physical therapy building. When you call the main number to Baylor, ask for outpatient physical therapy, and then for aquatics. They have prenatal water aerobics and other water aerobic classes.

Also, I go to Lifetime Fitness in Colleyville and I take the water aerobics at 8:45 in the mornings.

Hi J. - I participate in the water aerobics class at Carroll High School in Southlake off of 1709 and I love it. It is very reasonable and you don't have to be a member. I started after having my last child, but we have also had several prgenant women too. The instructor, Colleen, is amazing and she works hard to make sure everyone can work at their own pace. Here is the site - please ignore the picture of the lady in the flowered bathing cap - we don't look like that :-). http://cisdaquatics.com/aerobics/. Hope you will join us.

Try the Keller Natatorium or Keller Pointe. Also, Divine Yoga has a great pre/post natal yoga program. Good luck.

The Solana Club in Westlake in the Solana complex has great water aerobic classes and they are small enough that you feel like you are getting individual attention...(5 to 12 people in a class). Also, Keller natatorium and the LA Fitness on 377 have classes.
I have done water aerobics for 20 years now...and I started when I was expecting my third child. I have done it ever since. It is a great way to stay in shape and toned.
I enjoy the classes at Ballys in Hurst and their membership costs are very reasonable, but that may be too far for you. Good Luck!

I was at the same point last year that you are right now :-) My daughter was born on Thanksgiving! Anyway, I took a water aerobics class in Irving at Northlake Community College. It was great! It wasn't specifically for pregnancy, but the instructor was very accomodating to me and my friend, who was also pregnant.
Good luck!

I go to the Aqua Fit class at LA Fitness in Keller. I've seen pregnant women there before. It's really nice.

Does Keller Pointe offer anything? I saw a flyer for prenatal massage and I've seen water aerobics there - I bet most water aerobics would be appropriate for pregnancy.
