Apparently, my son had an ink pen in his pants pocket when I did the lanudry. It wasn't until I put the pants in the dryer that I realized the ink pen was in his pants pocket. When I open my dryer, there was ink everywhere. Now the ink stain is all over the inside of my white dryer. I can still use the dryer and the ink does not get into other clothes however the dryer looks horrible. Is there any product I can use to remove the ink stains from the inside of my dryer? I tried Mr. Clean eraser but that didn't work. Anymore suggestions?
Have you tried hair spray??..Hair spray is really good at taking ink statins out of things...
Goop Off should work, I remember some type of hard to remove stain in my dryer and I used that. Stinks, but works!
I have found that Rubbing Alcohol gets most inks out and off of almost everything, good luck.
I had the same thing happen to me. I used rubbing alcohol and it all came off. I just put rubbing alchol on a cloth and scrubbed off the ink. It took me a whole bottle of the rubbing alcohol, but the ink is gone.
Try spraying hairspray on a rag and wiping your dryer drum OR try nail polish remover. Just be sure to wash the surface after using either of these chemicals really good and leave the dryer door open to let all of the fumes out. I have also used Soft Scrub. Good luck!
This happened to me last week. Sorry, nothing that I used got the stains off the dryer. Hopefully it will fade over time...
Take some rubbing alcohol and wipe off any excess. As long as you get the blobs of it off, the dried stuff won't get on your clothes. If you are worried, do a load of old towls first. Any little bit that might come off will come off in the first load.
Hi D.!
You may want to try rubbing alcohol. I don't know if it will work on the dryer or not, but it works like a charm for ink on clothes!
Good luck!

The same thing happened to me and I used hairspray.
I've had the same thing happen twice! Goo Be Gone on paper towel with alot of rubbing is the answer. It got probably 95% of the ink out of the dryer. Just keep a fan running nearby or the smell will overwhelm you. You can get Goo Be Gone at most stores or hardware stores. Oh yeah, the second time it happened I made my kid clean out the dryer and guess what - it has not happeded a 3rd time yet!!!!!
