Hey either wash by hand or in a gentle cyle by machine. NEVER PUT ANY BRA OR GIRDLES IN THE DRYER! The dryer and fab softner ruin the material.

I recently purchased nice bras and I haven't done this in a while. I usually just throw my bras in with the other laundry. I am looking for tips on how to wash them to make them last and hold their shape. Any advice would be appreciated.

You could always handwash them with Woolite in your sink. If you want to machine wash them, get a lingerie bag from Bed, Bath & Beyond (usually just a mesh bag) and throw them in the bag when you wash your delicates.
You can up them in the wash with the regular laundry, just let them hang dry. Your bras will last much longer!
Do not dry them in the dryer.
Definetly hand wash them. If your washing machine has a handwash cycle, use it for your bra's. The detergent won't affect them as much as how you wash and dry them. Most of these women said to hang dry or air dry, absolutley!! The bra's themselves will tell you the best way to clean them, check your labels. Most are handwash and lay flat to dry. Good luck!!!
The plastic ball at Bed Bath & Beyond is called the Bra Baby. I don't have one, but I'm going to get one. The bras I like are expensive and I hate handwashing. So, I wash in the machine on the hand wash setting and then hang to dry.
I go to Tina's Closet in Lisle to get fitted for my bras. They told me to always hand wash never to machine wash to make them last and hold their shape the longest.
I use one of those little white mesh bags for delicate laundry and then hang them dry. I'm sure they are available at Target or Walmart, etc. Or you can purchase the white plastic ball that helps keep it's shape. I don't know the name but I see them in those "as seen on t.v. magazines." Hope this helps.
Handwash with lingerie detergent or other mild detergent. Do not wring out. Place in a towel and squeeze the water out gently. Do not push one cup into the other to store them; this distorts the shape. Oh - and I had no idea about any of this either until I finally purchased some nice bras for myself and was instructed on their care by the sales lady!
I saw a product in Bed Bath and Beyond that is specially made to wash bras so they last longer. It is a white ball that you open and put your bra in and throw it in the washer. I hope this info helps.
Hi, Hang dry your bra, do not put in dryer. I recently learned that it messes up the elastic straps. You might want to handwash your bras, too.

If you wash them in the washing machine, you will ruin them the first time you put them in...at least that is what Tina the owner of Tina's Closet in Lisle says. It stretches out the spandex and rusts out the underwire b/c it is in the water for too long. I use a fine washables soap and do it by hand with warm water. I've also considered getting a cleaner that Tina developed to wash my bras b/c I don't feel like I am getting them clean enough and supposedly her detergent breaks down all of the oils.

Get yourself a lingerie bag to wash your bras in. I would wash them in the washing machine but on delicate cycle. Also you can use a delicate soap like woolite ( or I know a few years ago Victoria Secret sold special laundry soap for your fine washables- bras/panties) I'm not sure if they still do or not..
Woolite or Dove dishwashing detergent is mild enough. The longevity is in the rinse! Lotsa of very pure water!
I put my bras in the sink or bucket with some mild soap and then aggitated them in the water. I wash with plenty of water and remove the excess water without ringing or twisting . I then hang them on a hanger and let then drip dry.
