My wahser has just about had it. I had a Maytag and loved it so am looking at getting another one. My first question is front load or top load? I have been looking at top load washers as of now becasue that is what I have now, but a friend suggested I also look at front loads. I am looking at the Brovos or Cabrio maytag washers, but anyone have another that they like. My husband and son have allergies to dust mites (not very bad, but still a bit bothersom) so I was hoping to get a washer that helped with allergies and also one that sanitized. Anyone one know if this acutaly works or just an empty promise? Please advies! Thank you

What can I do next?

Well, we have an LG front load, and it works great. I have sanitize on it, and I have used it, and I guess it works OK, I mean, I'm not sure I actually KNOW if it is sanitizing, but I did push the button!!!! I know you can for sure put lots more laundry in a front load, and it does seem to wash the clothes better, because they are spinning up and down and not sideways so they move more when they are getting cleaned. Everyone in my family has allergies too, and we have not had any issues with the washer at all. Just make sure you use a cleaning tablet occasionally and let it air out after you do your laundry, so your laundry doesn't get a "smell" to it. Sometimes front loaders make your clothes have that smell, you know when you accidentally leave your clothes in for a day in the washer and they smell sour? Well that is what can happen if you don't clean your washer with those tablets. I never had that issue with my top load. Anyway hope you get what you want!!!

I have had Samsung front loaders for three years, never had an issue. I love them.

After my last top loader finally pooped out, I gave in and got myself a samsung front load washer and dryer. I was half expecting not to like them. But I have two friends who got cabrio top loaders and hated them so I knew I couldn't go that way.

Much to my surprise, I LOVE my front loader! I haven't had one problem with it yet, and it cleans so much better than my old washer -- and uses less water. I also have the sanitize cycle and like that feature as well.

Top loader all the way!!! My mom got a new front loader and had so many problems with it, she went and bought a new Kenmore top loader just like she had had for years. The front loaders don't rinse well, the clothes come out smelling musty, like they sat for a long time, even though they didn't, and the soap doesn't come out because of the water conservation, so you have to rinse them again and again, and if your family has allergies like her, then you could have reactions to the soap left inside. I personally have been looking at the ones that are top loaders, but don't have the spindle in the middle, they hold a lot, and look like they would work well, but I haven't done the research yet. But, I would not personally buy a front loader ever! Oh, and the really bad part is that if you forget to put something in, you can't add it once you start the load, and well, if you're like me, I add things for a few minutes after I start because I find them as I go. Its a hard decision, but an important one. Take your time and good luck!
