I have a co-worker who is looking for a washer, she just bought one from another co-worker, and it is not working. She has 5 kids, therefore, not a big budget for a washer. If you have, or know someone that wants to get rid of a washer, we would really appreciate it.

We have a large capacity washer that we would be willing to give your friend, if she'd be willing to pick it up. We also have an electric dryer to give away too, if she is interested. When we bought our house, it came with appliances - so now we have two! We live in North Hoffman Estates.
If nothing comes up on the private sale front -- Sears Outlet stores may be a good source. A simple washing machine may run around $200 - $250. Some are returned and some are new but witht a minor dent.
There is a Sears Outlet in Darien on Cass Ave & 75th Street. Don't think they deliver.

There is a really great website: freecycle.org. You can join some of your local area's free cycle. There are tons of things people are giving away and I have seen plenty of washers and dryers. Check it out it's great!

we are looking to sell our combo washer dryer if she wants to buy it otherwise we were gonna give it away to salvation army. We're looking for $100.
I have a 9-yr-old washer and gas dryer to sell. Came with this house but had my own that were newer. Would like $120 for both. Live in Deerfield, no way to transport these.
