My son just turned three months. For about 3 weeks he was sleeping for between 5-7 hrs. The past two weeks he has gone back to waking every 2-3 hrs. HELP!I have gotten used to his sleeping and now we are back were we started. Any advice?

What can I do next?

He's getting hungry. Are you doing any cereal yet? If you thicken his last feeding before bed with some cereal he will go longer before his next feeding. My daughter did the same at about 3 months. Pediatricians will typically tell you not to do cereal yet but experienced moms will tell you that a little bit of cereal for a good night sleep is a good idea.

This could just be another growth spurt. It should pass soon. I would ask his pediatrician if it continues longer than a week.

Babies go through growth cycles. There will be periods when their little bodies and brains are so busy growing and such that they can't get a good night's sleep. Make sure he gets a good feed right before bed. Also make sure he is getting good naps during the day.

He should go back to being a good sleeper soon.
