My son who is now 8 months recently started wanting to sit up while he drinks his bottle (expressed breastmilk). Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced this? The last couple of weeks he seems to have become obsessed with standing and beginning to turn himself around while standing (holding on to furniture, people). Is this related to that - that he just wants to be upright all of the time now? Just curious if anyone else's little guy/girl did this.
Oh yeah - my daughter started doing this - she cracked me up! but I started putting a pillow behind her because she would eventually lean too far back and fall and hit her head on the floor.
Oh yeah- and my 9 month old also rolls over onto his belly while drinking, and then gets mad when the milk won't come out! He'll hold the nipple in his mouth and crawl around the room, and then stand up and drink some more before wandering off again. Sometimes irritating (like when we need to rush off somewhere) but mostly cute.

It's fun to use a new skill once you've learned it, it's great when they are this curious about the world. Let him sit up and enjoy!
