Hi, Moms,
I was wondering if anyone knew of a place or project my kids (7 & 4) and I could help with during the Thanksgiving break. Last year on Christmas day we helped a friend whose church was delivering meals, but I don't know of any organization (preferably in the South Hills) doing something similar just now. Any ideas?

How about checking local churches or organizations that serve food to the homeless. I have done this before with my kids and it was such a wonderful time helping in this way. And meeting so many people on so many levels. Also, how about a local women's shelter? Hope this helps. Good luck and blessings to you and yours. C. B.
No specific recommendation, just an "Attaboy" (or "Attagirl", lol) for you... you are truly teaching your kids the meaning of the season. Good for you!!!!
South Hills Interfaith Ministries may have some opportunities for you and your children. Their website has contact info as well as info about what they do.
