Bad thing about Vizio if you have any problems you have to package it back up in the original packaging and then pay to have it shipped to them!
I would definitely just go to HH GREGG!
We really like the Vizio and are planing on purchasing one with in the next 30 days or so and wanted user feedback! Please include your model..so I know which one you use. We like the XVT (i think thats what it is)..
We purchased a 42" Sharp Aquos it was on qvc for 750 and 6 payments..! This is an amazing tv-thanks for you input.

I've had my 37" HD LCD Vizio for 2 years, so they don't make my model anymore, but I've been very happy with it. It has all the connectors I need, and it's been hooked up to dvd player, cable box, hd cable box, a laptop, and a Wii. I've never had any problems with it. I researched all the brands and found that even the well known expensive brands didn't have a better review from the tech/geek sites, like ZDnet and CNet. As a matter of fact, I read recently that Vizio's reputation has gotten even better now and is the number one selling brand.
Hi, we have 2 Vizio's! I'm not sure the model #'s, but the only problem, one has the speakers at the bottom of the tv & it doesn't have as good of sound as the tv with the speakers on the side, it loses that surround sound feel!
My husband purchased our Vizio about a year and a half ago and we really like it. I don't know the model # but it was a great deal and we have been very pleased so far.
take into consideration - buying your TV with Gift Cards - bought from Giant Eagle --- we are getting tank after tank after tank of FREE gas because we did this...
We bought a Sharp - love it except it doesn't have the GUIDE button on the remote to see what is on next. I like the one feature it has in the menu options... you can set it to audio only - I do that when I am on the computer to hear what is going on but to save power.
We also bought an Insignia.. it does have the GUIDE button on the remote - it is harder to set the sleep timer though. It doesn't have a SLEEP button on the remote.
I figured all TVs were alike in those matters. Wish I had known before we purchased what we did!
We just recently purchased one. It is awesome! We got an unbelievable deal and it looks great in the living room. WARNING: WATCH YOUR KIDS WITH IT. My kids are 4,4,3, and 2. Once they learned that is was a "no touch" item they have done great. As far as long term on the tv not sure yet but the picture is great. We can all stay at home and feel like we are at the movies. Good luck!
we looked at vizio but ended up buying a 50"Plasma-Panasonic. it was the best bang for the buck. after shopping around, we ended up at hhgregg.
Hi, we've actually almost converted all our tv's in the house to Vizio, we have all flat screen LCD's. I would make sure it's an LCD though, because we have an RCA Plasma in our bedroom that's less than a year old and it's already gone out, I guess it's just because Plasma, not sure. Really like vizio though!

We bought the Vizio vxl (??) Two years ago. We had a problem with the picture after a few months of purchase; the darker color pixals were showing bright green. We called Visio and they sent out a repairman within two days. He couldn't fix it and said that he sees a lot of Visios with the same problem. Anyway, the Visio company sent out a new TV, no questions asked and the new TV has been fine and the picture is wonderful. The company was kind and courteous and acted quickly.
Now my husband is wishing he got the bigger model.
Does it ever end? =)
