I am looking for a new ideas for boys birthday who is turning 7. Looking for ideas which do not include, movies, swim party bounce houses, main event, or chuckecheese......

Considering:
1. pet place??
2. does great outdoors have anything?
3. medieval times (but really don't think food is good and the place for little one's while they serve beer and all)

Any other suggestions?

Thanks,

What can I do next?

When my son turns 7 in November we are thinking about a party at Cinnamon Creek Ranch. It's an archery range. Apparently they set up the equipment and help the kids out and they shoot at balloons. I have no idea of the cost. My husband and son are both archers, so this may have more significance for our family.

I have heard that the Ft Worth Zoo has great parties. But they are really strict on the number of guests.

Cabelas also does parties. You get a private room, fish food to feed the trout and tokens for the arcade shooting game. There is also a scavenger hunt. I have heard that Bass Pro Shops (Outdoor World) do have parties. Someone I know had a fishing party there a while back. Apparently there was staff there to set everything up and the kids got to fish.

I recently had my son's 6yr party at a local gymnastics gym. The all LOVED it. The owners played some games with the kids but they were allowed some free time to jump in the ball bit and the trampoline. Boys and girls all had a lot of fun.

How about your home or a park. We do a pool party for DS each summer and plan to do it again for his 6th birthday. If we didn't have a pool we would probably still do it at home - just set up the sprinklers and those water 'slides' that work with the hose. Didn't know if this would qualify as a 'swim party' or you just mean not a destination swim place.

We held my son's 7th birthday party at a tae kwon do place, and all the boys loved it. We didn't invite any girls though, so I don't know what they would have thought. They did a mini lesson, and then the instructor cut the cake with a samurai sword.
Good Luck!

My son who is 8 recently went to a birthday party here http://cosmicjumptexas.com/locations/allen-texas-info/ and I had the hardest time tearing him away! All the kids, even the girls that attended the party thought this place was awesome. My son already asked if he could have his party here too:)
