I would say a chevy Tahoe.... I have a 2006 and I love it! I can put booster seats in the 3rd row for the neice & nephew, my kids in car seats in the middle and I still have trunk space for the double stroller and all my junk!
I need a vehicle that seats 7 and has at least three seat positions with the latch and anchors. Any recommendations?
Thanks for the answers so far...I'm off to test drive!
We bought a loaded 2008 Honda Odyssey with a 4 year extended warranty. Ended up paying the same price as a 2011 base model Toyota Sienna with leather upgrade. So we got a back up cam, sunroof, dvd system, power doors & a optional 8th seat as a bonus. Of course the payment is as much as my mortgage payment, but now I can carry my whole family safely.
I looked into the Flex and some others but they only had latch systems in two positions.
Thanks for all of the advice and input!

I have a Yukon Denali, and its truly my baby. Love her.....
I love the SUVs but what you described sound like a minivan answer. The SUVs are cooler than a minivan, sorry guys you know it is true, but the extra work on your back trumps any coolness factor.
I like Honda and Toyota but mostly because I have been burned big time by
American cars. :(
Minivan all the way. The sliding doors make this my FAVORITE vehicle for getting kids in and out of carseats. Once you're in a SUV they are ok, but the minivan is the best for easy in and out. Plus you won't ding other cars' doors in the parking lot -- you have to open SUV doors WIDE to get the kids in, and sometimes you have to climb up inside. Not fun.
Good luck!
ETA: I would agree with other poster that Honda/Toyota is the way to go. I currently have a Chrysler Town and Country, which I got to try to support our economy, but seriously it has been back to the dealership for more than FOUR recalls in two years. Door wiring, brakes, AC system and something else I can't remember. I don't have time for that, esp. with a brand new car.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my Ford Flex and it meets all of your requirements. The new Ford Explorer seats 7 as well and is very sharp. Hope to look into one of those when the lease on my Flex is up. If not, I will get another Flex without a doubt.
Does it have to e new? the Saturn Outlook is perfect I am buying one used fully loaded for 23g's and am sooooo excited. it drives so smooth and is very comfortable. I have wanted one since 08' but at the time the pmts would be 700+ per month. The GMC Arcadia is the same platform also very nice.
Dodge Mini van. Although the third row anchor seat is in a very bad spot almost making the van a 6 seater unless you get the bench seat middle row that also seats three.
We are looking at the Flex, they look so cool! I miss my Chevy Celebrity Eurosport wagon. That was my favorite car.
Suburban with the captains chairs in the middle row
Honda Odyssey
Toyota Sienna
Kia Sedona
The Dodge Grand Caravan has many seat options as well...
I'd get a 7 passenger suv. I love my Durango :)
Another vote for the FLEX!!!!
Chrysler has a TON of different vehicles that seat 7.
I still want the 74 Olds Custom Crusier that seats NINE that I saw online. ☺ Big block engine and all. ♥ Only 58,000 original miles!
3rd seat in that... REAR FACING!!! ♥ And only $3000.
My brother drives a Flex and really likes it. I think it seats 7 easily.
We have an Acadia. Love it.
We have a Yukon Denali XL and a Nissan Armada. Both fit the criteria, well the Armada seats 8, but has that many latches. I prefer to drive the Aramada.
I would not go with the Armada. I had a 2011 and already traded it in because the gas mileage is a killer. We would only average about 13 mpg. I traded it in on the redesigned Nissan Quest. I love the new design and have had numerous people tell me they love the new look. It is a mini van but does not have the mini van look. I had a 2008 Honda Odyssey and loved that one too. But I would suggest looking at the gas mileage on the SUV's unless that doesnt matter.
