I was wondering if any moms out there knew a hospital in the Bay area that allowed VBac's. I am supposed to go to Community Hospital but they do not allow them. I really want to try to give irth naturally if possible.
Hello A.,
I had c-section with my first (11 years ago) and the last two (9 years and 5 years old) had VBAC at Morton Plant Hospital. So you may want to check with them.
Hi A.,
I applaud your hopes for a vbac,
and it is my hope you succeed in your undertaking.
Helen Ellis Hospital in Tarpon Springs
is said to truly cater
to what is best for mother and child.
I imagine that includes your situation.
I have a friends who delivers a large number
of the babies that birth there.
She is amazing.
If I were to have another child,
and opt for a hospital birth,
she is the one I would want by my side.
A.,
I tried a natural birth after having a C-Section......I almost died and my son almost died! You better think twice about a V-Bac! I had a uterine ruptare and not only was it extremly painful for me my son could have had the potional for many problems because of it! I ended with an emerancy c-section I almost bled to death and my son was 0 abgar when he was born in the incubatur for several hours afterward!
I ended up having 5 surgeries that ended with a total hystrectomy because of it! So please reconsider it before you do this! I had to try it because in the 90s the insurance companies were insiting on it! But only a couple of years later they changed their minds because I was NOT the only one to have this happen to! Please be careful when making this choice!
