The doc might be right about the rupturing. Every VBAC is given a percentage of success. With my sistyer she had a 66% chance of uterian rupture with her 2nd child and a 94% chance of rupture with the 3rd. It really all depends on how thin your uterus has gotten from a previous pregnancy. Look in your insurance and find another obgyn, tell him/her your interest in a VBAC and ask for your success %. It mught be your body but medically speaking you really don't know much about it, no doc will allow a VBAC if there is a great % of rupture and you want more children. If your uterus ruptures and you want a third child what are you going to do? nothing--you'll have no more children, listen to your doc but get a second opinion, if they both say the same ---- BELIEVE THEM< THEY KNOW MORE THAN YOU!
