OMG lori S sounds a bit crazy / pessimist. I had my first child by csection then the next two Vbac (and I was 34 when I had my first daughter). My daughters are each two years apart. If you do not have any health risks (only you and your doctor know your specific case) and your doctor is supporting women having vbacs (hurray for him/her) then go for it! Having a child naturally is wonderful. The birthing experience and the healing is much better...SOOOOOO much easier than a c-section. REmember that women's bodies are made for childbirth. It is empowering to give birth naturally. Lori S has all the scarey stories...just like the stories EVERYONE likes to give you while you're pregnant. Things can and do go wrong, but the majority of pregnancies are healthy and VBACs are very successful. Best wishes to you in whatever you decide to do. You have to make an educated (try not to listen to wackiness) decision. Talk to your doctor about YOUR SPECIFIC risks.
