Just wanted to get some ideas on what other mommas give their super husbands for V-Day. I don't mind spending some dough but he doesn't where any jewelry, chocolate is nice but boring, and we have a newborn and 3 year old that make a romantic night for two kind of out. Thanks!

What can I do next?

My hubby thinks V-day is such a "Hallmark Holiday", so he's not too into it, but we will be meeting up for lunch that day. I ordered him a heart shaped small cookie cake from Great American Cookie. They serve 1-3 people so a smaller version of larger cookie cakes. Im picking it up on the 13th, and going to leave it on the front seat of his car, so he will "discover" it Valentines morning when he goes to work (I leave earlier than him). So nothing too fancy, just a little thoughtful. Plus he is taking me for sushi for lunch which is my fave.

How about one of the Hallmark cards with the music that plays, there are several. I just bought one earlier to give my man on V.Day that's pretty funny. On the inside you can write something like 'the rest of your gift is later' ;-). Then, in the room have some flavored whipped cream, or lotions(like you get at condom sense) or If your meaning the 'romantic night for two is out' because you've recently given birth, try a massage, you can get a massage oil and give him a massage. Wear something he'd enjoy. If you don't do that often, it would be a nice treat! If that's not your cup of tea, get him a gift certificate for a massage and tell him you love and appreciate his hard work and wanted him to have some 'relaxation' time to show it. Write it in a card. Last year, I had my mans favorite candy, a card and a heart shaped helium ballon and put it all in his truck after he was asleep the night before so he'd find it when he left for work. I left an 'inspiring' message inside the card so he'd be anticipating something the rest of the day. There's a lot of ideas! One year(when we were first dating) I even had him a cookie bouqet delivered LOL.He's got a real sweet tooth.

How about a custom labeled bottle of Sparkling Wine(you can pick the picture and put a special message) with truffels? Then after the kids are in bed, run a bubble bath, light some candels, pop the cork and have some fun!! We offer that and many more wine gifts great for Valentines Day!! my husband doesnt wear jewelry or like sweets either. me and my husband are not the big types who go all out on valentines day. we kinda think that it shouldnt be one day that you should show love and affection. so i usally write him a poem about how i love him adn why and of all the great things he has done that year and tehn we usaully have a nice dinner with our child and when he goes to bed we have some wine and just talk and cuddle. its really nice. its from the heart.

Maybe you can try an edible arrangement. but you either better hurry, or order for the next day!!! Good luck!!

a massage for him... or couple's massage.
You could put the kids down and have the masseuse come to your home.
hmmmm I used to date a pilot. One Valentine's Day, he set up a picnic under the stars on a big comforter on the backyard.
He had candles, etc... it was awesome (of course we were in FL)...

we're going to pick up sushi, put it in the frig, feed our 3 year old, put him to bed, and then eat the sushi picnic style. the other thing you can do to spice this up is to either eat it outside (if it's nice), by a fire (if it's cold) and with as few clothes on as possible.

oh and a bottle of wine.

have fun!
