I NEED a new vacuum. I remember a few weeks ago someone posting about how their vacuum "sucked" and I meant to save it and didn't!! And for the life of me I cannot remember who that was. Was it Riley?? Anyway...any advice or recommendations for a new vacuum? We live out in the sticks so we get a lot of dirt from our driveway and dirt roads and I do have a yellow lab. I was looking at the Hoover pet cyclonic but would like your advice.
TIA!! Have a blessed day!

I have a Dyson and love it.
But am intrigued by the commercials for the new O. (is it a Windtunnel?) with a longer hose AND cord? And a LOT cheaper than a Dyson.
Sorry can't remember off hand the brand/model of the O. in the commercial but it gets compared to the Dyson in the commercial and looks like it's just as good.

I have an Oreck and I love it. It is light weight, works great. 10 yr warranty, I take it in once a year for cleaning, belt replacements, etc for free.

I couldn't be happier.

I do have 2 hoovers that are over 10 yrs old and still work well. I had one for downstairs and one for upstairs. With the Oreck, it is so lightweight there is no need for 2 and it works well on the steps!

I have a roomba and let it do all the work for me. I use it at least once a day and I love it. Since I've had one, and raved about it so much, seven of my family and friends have bought one. They all love their's too.

Yeah yeah, it was me. I have a shark. I don't have carpet in my house but my coworkers have sharks that are made for carpet and love theirs as well. They seem to use a lot of the technology of the more expensive vacuums but not the price tag.

We love our dyson animal. It cleans up great on carpet, hardwoods, and tile after 3 cats, 1 dog that is a lab, two adults and a baby. Ours is about six years old now and the only time I had an issue it just needed the filters washed and was good to go again.

I have a Dyson too, which I love. I got a refurbished one from Amazon, and haven't had any problems with it. I was a die-hard Kirby fan until I saw how well my sister's Dyson worked. They are like magic.
