Hi Mommas
I am taking two of my married daughters on a vacation. We are planning to spend some serious outdoor time in the sun (c:
Do you have any suggestions on hotel down time activities for the evenings besides watching TV? Thanks so much!

We LOVE to play dominoes, yahtzee and scrabble -particularly with some good wine or margaritas! I'm a book nut and my mother always was too, so whenever we went anywhere together, we just enjoyed having the extra "free" time to sit back and read. Not sure where you're going, but find a local movie theater and catch up on some movies! That's another big favorite. Many resorts, condos and hotels also offer DVD players in the room so you can rent or bring movies to watch. I'm also a big fan of night swimming.
I second drinks and board games : )
Take a photo album with you! Hopefully you've got pictures of them as they were growing up. This has always proven to be a fun thing to do with my kids. Gets us talking, reminiscing, laughing and having a good bonding time. I have taken pictures over the years of my kids doing just about everything and it's always fun looking back. Good luck and enjoy!!!!
I would be thrilled to play Cards and Drink all night :-) it is VACATION after all..... Have Fun ! Where you going?
It depends on where you are going. Look up the local visitor center's website for evening ideas during your stay. Or call the hotel & see what's going on during that time.
Have fun! What a great idea!
