I'm leaving this afternoon for my mom's house in NJ. From there, tomorrow morning my mother, aunt, sister & I will be flying to FL & boarding a cruise ship until Monday. Then we'll be staying in Ft. Lauderdale until Tuesday evening when we fly home. I have packed: t-shirts, fancy tops, capris, fancy pants, a dress, 2 bathing suits, underwear, several pairs of flops, several pairs of fancy sandals, jewelry, my passport, & toiletries to include (aside from obvious shampoo, hair stuff, etc.) tampons, ibuprophen, tums, prescription glasses, & sunscreen. What am I forgetting?? I am absolutely positive that something will be left behind & I am dreading having to spend a small fortune for something really simple I should have thought of. Help!!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Lisa, you're hilarious! The tampons are a "just in case" precautionary measure that my sister reminded me to pack last night. I've got sunglasses, jammies, 2 lightweight sweatshirts, cash as well as a prepaid debit card, my cell phone is a great camera, I've got the charger, I'm getting a Kindle from my mom for my birthday (which was last week) tonight when I get there. I look horrible in hats, so that's a non-issue. You guys are awesome. Thank you!!

Definitely take along a windbreaker type jacket. Something to keep the wind from chilling you. The temps might be plenty warm, but after dark the wind on the deck of a cruise ship can be pretty chilly.

And take bandaids. Blisters and other accidents can happen, and they don't take up any room. :)

Oooh, have fun!

Cash, empty tote for your shopping excursions, sunscreen, chapstick, snacks, gum and some sort of motion sickness aid or pills....I am a personal fan of ginger root pills or dried ginger myself.

The items I always forget -- and end up needing! -- are aloe for sunburns, Q-tips, nail clippers, tweezers, Band-Aids and Neosporin. You also may want a hat if you're going to be out in the sun. Also, a pair of socks and sneakers in case you end up needing to walk a lot. I've been in big trouble when my sandals/flip flops gave me blisters and I had no alternative shoes! Have a great time!!!

--A carry on type bag for any souvenirs you buy so you don't have to try to figure out how to fit them in your suitcase and realize you don't have any room. (been there, done that!!)
--I second (or third) the dramamine if you have vertigo issues.
--An emergency plan (with everything going on with the other ship, better safe than sorry)
--Aloe for when you get sunburned.

Enjoy your trip!!

I think a jacket (light weight) would be good just in case the wind picks up or the weather isn't optimal in Florida. It's warmer than here, but you ever know.

On a side note, I sincerely hope that since you are on vacation, and it's a cruise no less, you don't have to use the tampons. Man, that would suck.

Sun glasses, camera, allergy medicine and a itchy cream, make up, cash, plastic bag for dirty clothes, a book, pajamas, a sweater (just in case).
ADD: phone charger (computer charger if you bring it with you) and what ever hair removal things you use.

Dramamine?
Thinking it might be better to buy it beforehand & tuck it in a bag--just in case--supply & demand, you know!
P.J's? slippers? light robe? Sweater?
Have fun!

How about a swimsuit cover up? Definitely bring a sweater, it could get very chilly/cold in Ft. Lauderdale in January. Camera/battery charger/memory card? Woolite to wash your bathing suit?
Have a great time!
