M.C.
Mine was just a feeling of knowing. Then I started getting unusually tired, and randomly nauseas.
When I took the test, it seemed like that was the green light for full-blown morning sickness. :/ lol.
So we started trying for #2 last month and yesterday found out that we were successful! Come April we should have a new little bundle of joy! I am 3 parts excited and 1 part nervous, pretty much like last time around. It is still very early (4 weeks) and I am higher risk for miscarriage in the first trimester due to an autoimmune disorder so prayers and good thoughts are much appreciated. We are waiting until I am further along to announce to friends and family, so I felt like I had to tell someone! So now for the question-what was your first sign you were pregnant? With both of mine I had/am having annoying but not severe cramps.
Thanks, everyone!

Awww, congrats! I'll definitely be praying for you and your baby.
My first sign of pregnancy is usually knowing that I'm fertile, and then making any kind of contact in bed ;-)
I didn't know I was pregnant with our boy until I was about 5 weeks or so along and suddenly nauseous. It was on my way to work, so I bought a pregnancy test and took it at a coffee shop before going in to my nanny job. Positive! I called him as soon as I knew he was at the office and told him the good news. We'd recently miscarried, so it was a happy surprise for us. The best surprise of my life, really!
Congrats! We'll be crossing our collective fingers for you. :)
Congrats, and great hopes that you don't have complications!
Congratulations!
Wow!
Pregnant after 1 month of trying is not bad at all.
It took us 4 years and a fertility specialist to have our son.
We had to do IVF and a blood test 14 days after embryo transfer said we were pregnant - but I didn't feel pregnant at all.
In fact I was crying up a storm the whole week leading up to the test thinking it hadn't worked.
No my moods were not a clue - the hormone shots make you feel that way no matter what happens.
The test made me so happy, and yet I still could not quite believe it.
When I finally heard the heart beat - that made it real for me.
Congrats!!!! (Hazel is right, fingers crossed!)
First I had bad cramps but no blood, so I took a test. Second, don't remember. I think we had sex, I hoped I was pregnant, I took test, and it said pregnant ;-) Third, I went back and forth about having baby, we had unprotected sex, I decided I wanted a baby, and then I waited, and waited, and then my back hurt and I literally felt implantation. I was a bunch of days from my period, but I got one of those super early tests, and it came back positive. I didn't even use early morning pee. I got the test around lunch time because I just knew something was up because my back was killing me!
Congratulations!
I dont remember with the first but I was waiting with baited breath.
The second was a total surprise. I was so busy I didn't realize how late I was till I started counting, 28, 29, ...and got up to 38! Went and took a test.
Yay! Congrats!
I was using a scented carpet powder (dog had an accident) and the fragrance of it about knocked me out!
With my first, I didn't have any symptoms before I knew because we were trying and I was obsessively testing.
My second was a surprise, my first clue was wondering why my work pants were so tight. I was 10-11 weeks along at that point.
Congratulations!!!!
With my first, I had flu like symptoms that just wouldn't go away.
My second, I REALLY wanted fajita's and made them, then couldn't eat them. This was also a day or two after my trip to the ER for what I thought was vertigo.
The third, a coworker about 15 feet away had fresh broccoli and I smelled it all day long.
Congrats, how exciting! Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months! My signs were always having to go pee all the time and craving veggies, LOL.
Congratulations..
With my first, My co-worker said she had a dream that I was pregnant.. 3 days later I took the test and woola.
My second, was a little shock. I kept waiting for my cycle to start, then my boobs got sore.. so after a week or two of waiiting I took the test and was shocked.. then the sore boobs kicked in. :)
Congrats, how exciting!
With my first, I was out of town at a competition. I had an upset stomach for days preparing for the competition, anticipating, then the excitement of the first two rounds, going to the finals and losing by one point!! Then the next day I woke up and thought to myself, gee, that's silly, my stress should be all gone, why do I still have butterflies? Then the next day it was "why are my lingering butterflies making me puke?" And the next day it was "wait, when was my last period?" Surprise! In retrospect, I should have known when I went to a seafood restaurant and sent back my salmon three times insisting it was spoiled! I couldn't understand why it sounded so appealing but tasted like rotten cat food!!
With my second, I had a hyper-sensitive sense of smell for a couple of days followed by morning sickness and it was torture when my little one was breastfeeding!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
I couldn't handle the smell of tuna. And the "virus" I had wasn't a cold virus!! My allergies were full blown and I was sick!
That was fast!!! You will have some envious women here!!
Take it easy. Keep the stress down!
Prayers coming your way for a healthy pregnancy!!!
I was nauseous for a week. Then, I was nauseated and exhausted. I slept 12 hours one night, 14 the next, and 19 the third day. The third day, my then-husband called home in the middle of this marathan sleeping session and told me he was bringing home a pregnancy test. I poo-pooed it and said "Do whatever you want." I guess denial was the third symptom. When he brought it home, I took it just to prove that I was correct. I wasn't.
Ironically, I now have a chronic health condition that makes me nauseated and exhausted pretty much 75% of my waking hours. Unfair with no baby at the end of it!
