Babies are not apps, they aren't downloaded instantly. Like a plant, a seed is planted, then fertilized, then, if conditions are just right, a baby will grow.
Any OTC test will tell you if you are pregnant, there's no "magic" here, just science.

You do have to wait a few days to test. But if you don't want to be pregnant you only have 48-72 hours to take Plan B.

After reading your profile I'm confused as to why you would ask this question. At the least I'm confused as to why you don't just ask your pharmacist about the best brand. I just don't understand after 2 children and 2 grandchildren...????

Pregnancy tests from the Dollar Store are just as accurate as those that cost more. Hormones begin changing immediately. I think how long for them to be high enough is individual.

Why do you need to know immediately? If your're wanting to end the pregnancy with something like the morning after pill see your doctor now. I suspect such medication works best the sooner it's taken. You don't have to wait for a positive test. I think such a pill is now available OTC but I'm not sure. I'm only guessing that this is the reason to know raw. I can't think of any other reason one couldn't wait.

Google pregnancy test calculator. The site says to test 7-10 after ovulation. The site tells you what to do if you don't know ovulation date.

Researchers are always trying to learn knew things about the human body in order to learn of pregnancies sooner. The pregnancy tests in stores are very accurate and will let you know as soon as possible. Right now, there isn't anything out there that can let you know sooner.

Honestly, the way your body works, there isn't anything to know. You're kind of asking for a test to predict the future.

I always tested positive at 10 DPO. And not a single day before that. 9 DPO = negative, 10 DPO = positive.

If you are sure when you ovulated, that's a basic guide. If you are not sure, you may need to keep testing until you miss your period, unfortunately.

There are some tests that can tell you up to 4 or 5 days before your missed period, but the chances of a false neg are higher. It is best to wait until you are actually late.
