Two Year Old with Night Sweats

My son is sweating a lot when he sleeps. When we go to check on him before we head to bed, his pillow is soaked and his jammies are wet. We keep our house cool (most people say it's too cold in our house!) so I can't imagine why he'd be so hot. He doesn't sweat during the day, just at night while sleeping even with the A/C on and a fan in his room. I'm planning to ask his pediatrician about it the next time we're in, but thought I'd see if any of your kids have done this and if so, what was the cause? Thanks!

My neice had that situation too. My sister told me that it was nothing at all, just some kids sweat more than others. Still run it past your doc but I'm sure it's nothing! Best wishes!

Both my kids sweat alot when they are sleeping...wet pillow and jammies, like you described. Doc says it't normal but just for peace of mind, I had their blood checked. All was normal. Def run it by your doc and hopefully it is nothing more than a sweaty kid.

My daughter was the same way for a long time, my doctor said that is was normal for her to sweat so much, some kids do, now she is almost 5 and stills sweats some, but not too much, it has gotten better. Ask your pediatrician, but dont worry too much about it
