Popsicles always seemed to help my son. We would give him the all fruit one (no added sugar). They would numb his mouth for awhile and he didn't get juice or sweets so he thought they were super. Good luck.
I have a wonderful little boy who is 2 1/2 years old and his 2 year molars are coming thru (I think). Just an FYI, he sleeps thru the night everynight without any problems on a normal evening. For the last 3 nights, he is getting up every 2 hours maybe 3 becuase he is in pain. We are giving him the recommended doses of Tylenol and Motrin and that is not touching it (this worked for us on other teething nights). We also have tried the Homeopathic meds that dissolve in his mouth and that has no effect on him either. I am staying away from the topical stuff because of the risk that he may swallow some of it and it will numb his throut and god for bid he start to choke he won't feel it and it really doesn't last all that long to help us out. I called my Dr. and he had no new solutions for me. If you have any ideas we would greatly appreciate it. Thank You.

My peds office recommended taking a qtip with Benedryl and rubbing it on his gums. It seemed to releive some of the swelling for my son. We have VERY rough teething days, weeks. :o) Best of luck.
Unfortunately, all I can tell you is that it will get better! :(
hylands teething tables along with the tylenol and motrin
thats what i did for my boys and they were hard teethers
My 2 1/2 year old just had her last one pop through, we never had any teething trouble till these molars...they must be tough ones.
Just keep up with the motrin, and Tylonal. Try giving him something to chew on to help break them through.
Sorry this isn't much help, but it will be over soon.
